Education Without Values Is Dangerous
26 January Special | A Message to the Public
Today, education is often measured in marks, ranks, and degrees.
Success is defined by salary, position, and status.
But an important question remains unanswered.
Does education make us better citizens, or only more skilled individuals?
Knowledge without values gives power without direction.
Skills without ethics create efficiency without responsibility.
History shows us that educated minds without moral grounding can harm society more than ignorance ever could.
The Constitution does not demand only educated citizens.
It demands conscious citizens — people who understand equality, dignity, tolerance, and justice.
Education should not only answer “How can I succeed?”
It must also ask, “How should I live?”
Schools and universities must prepare students not just for jobs, but for citizenship.
A Republic survives not on degrees, but on values.
