What is Unemployment?
Unemployment refers to a situation where a person who is willing and able to work is unable to find a job. It is one of the major economic problems affecting a country’s growth.
Types of Unemployment
- Frictional Unemployment: Temporary unemployment while searching for a job
- Structural Unemployment: Caused due to mismatch of skills and job requirements
- Cyclical Unemployment: Occurs during economic downturns
