Message to Parents and Teachers
26 January Special | A Message to the Public
Every generation inherits a Republic.
What kind of Republic the next generation receives depends largely on parents and teachers.
Values are not installed like apps.
They are shaped through example, patience, and consistency.
Children learn more from what adults do than from what they say.
Respect is learned when it is practiced.
Equality is learned when it is demonstrated.
Education must do more than prepare children for examinations.
It must prepare them for citizenship.
Parents and teachers are the first guardians of constitutional values.
Their influence shapes conscience long before laws do.
A Republic survives not through fear, but through values.
If we want children to defend democracy tomorrow, we must practice it today.
